1 dead, 1 critically injured in crash on Hwy 6 near Hamilton

One person is dead and another suffered critical injuries in a head-on crash on Highway 6, near Hamilton.

OPP Sgt. Kerry Schmidt says police were informed of the crash close to 12th Concession outside of Freelton shortly before 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Schmidt says it is unclear if any other people were injured.

Highway 6 is currently closed for the investigation.
