Heavy downpours and strong winds are expected in Toronto on Tuesday, with rain and thunderstorms already happening north and west of the city.
The rain is already coming down in areas outside of the city’s core, with listeners to 680 NEWS reporting that there is ponding on the Gardiner Expressway near the Don Valley Parkway.
People can expect unsettled conditions to continue throughout Tuesday, including the afternoon rush hour.
The winds are also expected to pick up, so an umbrella might not be the most useful option.
