Dog shot, man arrested after suspicious incident in Brampton

A man has been arrested after Peel police received a call for a suspicious person outside of a home in Brampton.
The man was seen with a dog in the area of Chinguacousy Road and Williams Parkway at 5:15 a.m. Tuesday.
When police arrived at the scene, the dog became aggressive towards them.
The dog was shot and killed.
Charges are pending against the man.
