Motorcyclist killed in crash on Lawrence Avenue East

Speed appears to have been a factor in the death of a 20-year-old motorcyclist following an early morning crash in the east end.
Police say a motorcycle and an SUV collided at the intersection of Lawrence Avenue East and Underhill Drive, east of the Don Valley Parkway just after midnight.
The motorcyclist was thrown in the collision and pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the SUV remained on the scene and was co-operating with investigators.
Police say the driver did not suffer any injuries and no charges have been laid.
