1 man killed, another hospitalized after Caledon crash

Provincial police are investigating a fatal crash that killed the driver and left another man in hospital with serious injuries in Caledon.

Police say they were called Lansbridge Street and Queensgate Boulevard just before 4:30 Sunday morning.

The victim has been identified as 24-year-old Jonathan Gatti of Bolton.

Investigators are still looking to determine what caused the driver to lose control and hit a tree, but believe speed and not wearing a seat belt were factors in the crash.
