Man shot dead outside of his home in Georgetown

A 36-year-old man is dead after he was gunned down outside of his home in Georgetown, in what police believe was a targeted shooting.
Emergency crews were called to Monarch Drive, near 10 Side Road and Mountainview Road, around 11 p.m. Tuesday for reports of gunfire.
When paramedics arrived, they found the victim on the driveway and pronounced him dead at the scene.
Police have identified him as Ryan Lord from Georgetown.
There has been no word on suspects.
Police are asking for anyone who may have witnessed the shooting, or has security or dashcam footage of the area at the time of the incident, to contact the homicide tip line at 905-825-4776.
