Vehicle stolen with dog inside recovered

Toronto police say a vehicle stolen with a dog inside has been recovered and the dog has been found safe.
It was reported that the victim had left their car running and went into a convenience store in the area of McCowan Road and Eglinton Avenue East around 11:20 p.m. on Friday night
While they were in the store, the vehicle was stolen.
Just after 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, police say the dog was found and has been reunited with family. The vehicle was also found.
