Man in his 50s shot aboard transit bus in Brampton

Peel Regional Police are searching for a suspect in connection with a shooting aboard a Brampton transit bus.
Police say they were called to the area of Dixie Road and Howden Boulevard around 6:30 p.m. following reports of a shooting.
The victim, a man in his 50s, was transported to a trauma centre with non-life threatening injuries.
Police say the suspect fled the scene on foot.
Police did not elaborate on what may have precipitated the shooting but add there were no others injuries.
