Toronto police have released photos of a suspect wanted for reportedly taking a catalytic converter from a vehicle.

The incident was reported last Wednesday as a theft from a vehicle in the Bridgeland Avenue and Dufferin Street area.

Police say a man approached a truck in the area shortly before 3 p.m., cut the catalytic converter out of the vehicle and carried it away.

He is described as having brown hair and a scruffy beard, wearing black sunglasses and a blue and yellow hoodie.

Investigators believe there may be more alleged victims.
