By news staff

Durham police are on the hunt for a suspect after two men were shot in Oshawa Sunday night.

Emergency crews were called to the scene at a home on Erie Street, near Simcoe Street south and Bloor Street south, just before 10:30 p.m.

A 34-year-old man and a 51-year-old man both suffering from gunshot wounds were rushed to a Toronto trauma centre. Their conditions are considered to be serious but stable.

Police said the shooting happened inside the home.

Investigators believe this was an isolated incident. They are asking anyone with security or dashcam video of the area at the time of the incident, or who was a witness to the incident, to contact police.

No suspect information has been released.
