1 dead, 2 others injured in 2-vehicle crash in Vaughan

A 27-year-old Toronto woman is dead following a two-vehicle crash in Vaughan.

York regional police said a Ford Focus and a Honda CRV collided in the area of Dufferin Street and Langstaff Road around noon on Sunday.

Police said the woman, who was a passenger in one of the vehicles, suffered critical injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Both drivers, a 26-year-old woman from New Tecumseth, and a 66-year-old woman from Vaughan, were also injured in the crash. They were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Investigators are asking anyone with dashcam footage of the collision, or any witnesses who have yet to speak with police, to come forward.
