Cyclist injured in crash near Finch and Hwy. 400

A man in his 60s has been rushed to a trauma centre after a crash involving a bicycle and another vehicle on Finch Avenue at Highway 400.

Emergency crews were called to the scene just before 8 a.m. Friday.

Police said a vehicle struck the cyclist from behind.

The cyclist suffered serious injuries.

The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene.

Westbound Finch is closed from Norfinch to the 400 while police investigate.
