Arrest made in killing of 95-year-old woman

A Toronto man is facing a charge of second-degree murder in the death of a 95-year-old woman last week.
Police were called to the Don Mills Road and Finch Avenue East area on Tuesday at around 9:37 a.m. for a sudden death.
Upon arrival an elderly woman was found deceased.
She’s been identified as Margaret Nishikawara, 95, of Toronto.
On Friday, police arrested Gary Nishikawara, 66, of Toronto, and charged him with second-degree murder.
Nishikawara‘s death is the city’s 59th homicide of the year.
