1 male in custody after trying to flee scene of crash on Spadina Avenue

Toronto police say a male is in custody after he tried to flee the scene of a two-car crash on Spadina Avenue on Wednesday evening.
Police responded to the scene of the collision on Spadina Avenue and Front Street around 4:30 p.m.
Two vehicles were travelling northbound when they collided.
One of the drivers fled the scene on foot and was chased by officers. He is now in custody.
Police say it is unclear why he fled and there was no chase before the crash.
Paramedics say a man in his 20s and another patient were taken to hospital with minor injuries.
An investigation is ongoing.
