2 injured in St. James Town apartment fire

Two people were injured following a large fire in a St. James Town apartment building.
Emergency crews were called to 200 Wellesley Street around 12 p.m. Saturday.
The fire was subsequently upgraded to two-alarms before firefighters were able to get it under control.
According to police, one person was found with serious injuries inside a 12th floor unit.
Paramedics say two people were transported to hospital – a man in his 60s with serious burns while a woman in her 70s was taken to a local hospital with less-serious injuries.
The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
