A Canada-wide arrest warrant has been issued for a suspect in a brazen daylight shootout at a Brampton cemetery last August.
Police were called to the Brampton Memorial Gardens in the Bovaird Drive West and Chinquacousy Road area around 3:45 p.m., on August 31, 2020, for reports of a shootout involving up to seven people.
“During the course of the investigation, three victims were located with non-life threatening gunshot wounds. There were four vehicles within the grounds of the cemetery, a nearby school and a residence that sustained damage as a result of the gunfire,” Peel regional police said in a release Monday.
A Canada-wide warrant was issued on February 19, 2021, for Pedram Rabie, 31, of Thornhill.
He’s wanted for numerous offences, including two counts of attempted murder.
