1 dead, 2 injured in multi-vehicle crash in Vaughan

One person has died, and two others were injured following a crash in Vaughan Monday afternoon.
York Paramedics said they were called to the scene of a multi-vehicle crash on Jane Street near Teston Road around 3:30 p.m.
One person was pronounced dead on scene and another person was taken to hospital, paramedics said. The extent of their injuries is unknown at this time.
Another patient was treated on scene but their current condition is also unknown.
Police are asking motorists to avoid the area while they investigate the cause of the crash.
