Peel police say 2 separate incidents of children falling out of windows are ‘accidental’

A young child has suffered life threatening injuries after falling out of a window of a house in Brampton. Brandon Rowe has the latest on the incident and the details of another child falling out a window not long after the first child fell.

Peel police investigated two separate incidents of children falling out of windows in Brampton on Tuesday, concluding that they were both accidents.

The first incident occurred Tuesday at around 11:30 a.m. in the Pickers Lane and Banting Crescent area, police said.

Investigators said a child fell out of a residential window and was transported to a local trauma centre in life-threatening condition.

The second incident happened at around 2:02 p.m. on Fanshawe Drive.  Police said a child was transported to a trauma centre after falling out of a window.

The child has non-life-threatening injuries and the incident is not considered suspicious, police said.
