Girl, 7, struck by vehicle near Allen and Lawrence

A seven-year-old girl is in critical but stable condition in hospital after she was struck by a vehicle near Allen Road and Lawrence Avenue.
Police say just before 6 p.m. a silver 2017 Toyota Highlander was travelling westbound on Fraserwood Avenue towards Shermount Avenue when the girl ran out onto the road and was struck.
The driver, a 45-year-old man, remained at the scene. Police said he was following the posted speed limit.
