The sting of playoff disappointment is nothing new for Toronto Maple Leafs fans.
Carey Price made 30 saves Monday night as the Montreal Canadiens stormed back from a 3-1 series deficit to beat the Leafs 3-1 in Game 7 of a roller-coaster Original Six matchup.
Despite the all-too-familiar feeling, Leafs Nation is reacting strongly to the latest playoff gaffe with words, pictures, videos, and even songs.
It’s lights out on another Leafs season that ended earlier than expected. Again. One disgruntled fan burned their Leaf flag and left it outside Scotiabank Arena. The team hasn’t made it past the first round of the playoffs since 2004. pic.twitter.com/k15B9AjBU9
