A single-vehicle crash involving a fuel tanker shut down a section of Hwy. 410 in Brampton for most of Wednesday and into Thursday morning.
Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) say the extended closure was because the vehicle rolled over and began leaking gasoline into a field of grass.
The highway was closed in both directions for nearly 17 hours from Queen Street to Williams Parkway for investigation and clean-up.
No injuries were reported in the collision.
