Investigators said the victim, a 45-year-old man from Brampton, appears to have been injured at the motel but was later found just east of the complex near a bus shelter.

It appears to have been a targeted attack and police said there’s no immediate threat to the community.

No descriptions of possible suspects have been released at this time, however, investigators said they will be looking at local CCTV.
