Fire breaks out at cannabis processing facility in Milton

Emergency crews are at the scene of what they’re calling a “significant fire” at a cannabis processing facility in Milton.
Firefighters were called to the scene on Fifth Line north of Lower Base Line West in Milton around 1 a.m. Wednesday.
Officials said there are at least 15 fire trucks at the scene.
Oakville and Burlington fire departments are also at the scene helping to try to put out the fire.
Images from the scene show a large portion of a greenhouse facility’s roof completely destroyed.
There has been no word on how the fire started.
No injuries have been reported.
