Man seriously injured in daylight shooting in Oshawa

Durham Regional Police say a man has been seriously injured following a shooting in Oshawa Thursday.

Police said they were called to the scene at Ritson Road and Bond Street around noon after reports of gun fire.

Police said the victim was shot while inside a vehicle and was transported to hospital by paramedics.

There is no word on suspects at this time or any other details as to what may have led up to the incident.
