Charges laid after police helicopter hit with laser

York regional police say they have laid charges after a police helicopter was hit with a laser in Aurora.
Police say the chopper was flying over the town on general patrol on Saturday evening when the pilot and tactical flight officer were struck by a bright light source.
The force says a suspect was arrested.
The 29-year-old man is facing multiple charges, including mischief endangering life.
