Man dies after falling into Credit River

A man has died after falling into the Credit River in Mississauga on Tuesday.
Police were called to the area of Stavebank Road and Park Street around 5:20 p.m. for reports of a person falling into the river and not resurfacing.
Paramedics and police conducted a search and the person was found and pulled from the water in life-threatening condition. He was pronounced dead on scene.
