Child struck by vehicle in Etobicoke

A child was injured after being struck by a vehicle in Etobicoke on Thursday afternoon.

Police were called to the area of Lake Shore Boulevard West and Seventh Street shortly before 5 p.m.

The child was taken to a hospital in non-life threatening condition.

The driver of the vehicle involved stayed on scene.

There is no word on the child’s age or whether charges will be laid against the driver.
