Man critically injured after being struck in Pickering

A man in his 60s suffered critical injuries after being struck by a vehicle in Pickering.
Durham Regional Police were called to the intersection of Bayly Street and Liverpool Road, just south of Highway 401 just before 10:30 p.m. Friday for a serious collision involving a pedestrian.
Police the pedestrian was transported to a Toronto trauma centre via ambulance.
Investigators would not say if the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene.
