Teen suspect sought in murder of Toronto taxi driver

Toronto police are seeking a teenage boy wanted in the murder of a taxi driver in Scarborough last weekend.

Police say the 17-year-old suspect is wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for second-degree murder in the death of Christopher Jung, 73, of Toronto.

Police were called to the Pharmacy Avenue and Eglinton Avenue East area on Sunday, October 24, at around 8:48 p.m. after reports that a taxi crashed into a fence.

When officers arrived they found Jung alone and unconscious in his cab. Police say he had multiple gunshot wounds and died later at hospital.

The suspect was last seen running from the area in dark clothing.
