Woman struck by vehicle in Brampton, suffers serious injuries

A woman suffered serious injuries after being struck by a vehicle in Brampton on Tuesday night.

It happened at Clarkway Drive and Almond Street, near Castlemore Road and Highway 50. just after 7 p.m.

The woman was taken to hospital with serious, but not life-threatening injuries.

Police say the driver of the vehicle remained on scene.

There are road closures in the area.
