Police issue warning after harmful cannabis products seized in raid

Toronto police have issued a warning about harmful products after an unlicensed cannabis dispensary was raided Friday night.

Police say they executed a search warrant at a dispensary in the area of Alness Street and Finch Avenue West around 7 p.m.

During the raid, police said a quantity of cannabis products that were packaged and labelled to replicate mainstream candy products for public consumption were seized.

“The products could be harmful if ingested, especially to children,” police warned in a statement on Saturday.
