Man wanted for assault after attempted stabbing downtown

A 27-year-old man is wanted in connection to an assault investigation in downtown Toronto.

Toronto police say two men got into an argument over money on Friday morning around 11:30 in the area of Spadina Avenue and Queens Quay.

Police say the suspect attempted to stab a 33 year-old man with a pocket knife.

The suspect allegedly took a video of himself damaging the man’s vehicle and then shared it online

Police say 27 year-old Ammar Bekri is wanted for assault with a weapon and uttering threats.
