Police say suspect kidnapped men at gunpoint before stabbing and robbing them

Toronto police are on the hunt for a man allegedly involved in a violent kidnapping and robbery in September.
Police were called to the Dupont Street and Symington Avenue area on Sunday, September 19 for reports a robbery.
Police say a group of men approached two men and forced them into a vehicle at gunpoint.
Inside the vehicle, one of the victims was stabbed and the men were robbed of cash.
Carlos Swaby-Palcios, 25, of Toronto is being sought for kidnapping, robbery with a firearm, pointing a firearm and assault causing bodily harm.
Police say the suspect, who frequents the Queen Street West and Jameson Avenue area, is six foot three and 180 pounds with long curly black hair.
Back in 2018, Swaby-Palcios faced numerous weapons and assault charges after what police described as a “brazen” shooting incident in Parkdale.
