By James Mackin

The return of the ghostbusters has entered the MUST-WATCH Top 10! But will it take the top spot, or does that belong to the latest biopic from Will Smith? Perhaps a new fantasy series will secure that coveted spot? You’ll have to keep reading to find out!

With their mother (played by Carrie Coon from the Leftovers and Avengers: Infinity War), they move to a small farm owned by their grandfather in Oklahoma. This town has some strange, supernatural occurrences and the kids decide to investigate it. They find some of the old ghostbustin’ equipment, and decide to put it to good use fighting and trapping the ghosts popping up. She believes that this chosen one is one of several young people she encounters, and she teams up with all of them to fight all the evil in the land. And hopefully, they’ll be able to stop the Dark One before he takes over.

tick, tick… BOOM!

Where to watch: Netflix

Next up, the latest film from Lin-Manuel Miranda!

tick, tick… BOOM! is the latest film directed by Miranda (the creator of Hamilton and In the Heights), but it’s a musical that was created by Jonathan Larson. This is an autobiographical musical about his attempts to write a hit musical as he nears the age of 30. He’s played by Andrew Garfield (from the Amazing Spider-Man and the Social Network), who plays him in the middle of a quarter-life crisis. Larson was more famously known as the creator of the smash musical Rent, as well as the fact that he died the night before the premiere. The film has drawn tons of praise for Garfield’s performance, both as an actor and singer. It also stars Alexandra Shipp (from Straight Outta Compton and Love, Simon) and Vanessa Hudgens (from High School Musical and Sucker Punch).

You can watch this film on Netflix now!
