If you attended the Toronto Raptors-Washington Wizards game at Scotiabank Arena on Sunday, the city’s public health department is asking patrons to monitor for COVID-19 symptoms.
The scale of the exposure wasn’t immediately clear, but an update posted on the City of Toronto’s website on Friday said the caution applies to anyone who was inside the downtown arena after 6 p.m.
Officials asked people to monitor for symptoms consistent with COVID-19 until the end of Wednesday.

“Get tested if you develop symptoms since the event, including mild symptoms and even if you no longer have symptoms,” the listing said, encouraging people to self-isolated if they need to get tested.
The main symptoms people were told to monitor for included a fever over 37.8 C, chills, new or worsening cough, trouble breathing and a loss or decrease of smell or taste.
For those who are 18 and older, they were told to be on the lookout for fatigue, sore muscles and sore joints, and for those under 18 they were advised to be on the lookout for nausea, vomiting and/or diarrhea.
