Two young teens have been hospitalized and two more arrested following a stabbing and robbery at a North York mall on Sunday night.

Toronto police were called to an apartment building near Fairview Mall just after 5 p.m. following reports of a stabbing.

When officers arrived they found two teens, aged 14 and 15, suffering from serious stab wounds. They were taken to a nearby trauma centre and are in stable condition.

Police say the victims went to the nearby apartment to treat their wounds after they were stabbed and robbed at Fairview Mall. They called emergency services once realizing the severity of their injuries.

The pair had jewelry and cell phones taken from them and police say this was the second group of young people robbed in the mall on Sunday by the same group of young suspects. Earlier in the day, a group of 13-year olds were also robbed of personal items.

Police arrested a 15, 14 and 11-year old at Kennedy Station a short while later. Officers recovered two knives and a replica handgun during the course of the arrest.

The 11-year old was released without being charged. Police are still looking for another suspect after the victims allege they were approached by four individuals.

Police say the suspects are also believed to have been involved in recent events in Scarborough and Durham region, but did not go into further detail.

No suspect details have been released. Anyone who was in or near the mall at the time of the incident is asked to contact police.
