19-year-old woman dead after early morning collision on Lake Shore Boulevard

A 19-year-old woman has died following an early morning collision on Lake Shore Boulevard.
Toronto police say the collision happened early Sunday morning, in the area of Lake Shore Boulevard West and Jameson Avenue around 2:30 a.m.
Police say a 30-year-old man was driving a 2018 black BMW M4 eastbound at a high rate of speed and crossed over into the westbound lanes, striking a concrete barrier.
The woman was pronounced dead in hospital. A male occupant remains in hospital with serious injuries.
The cause of the collision is under investigation.
Anyone who may have information or dashcam footage is asked to contact police.
