Man, 28, in hospital after 2-vehicle crash in Brampton

A 28-year-old man has life-altering injuries after a two-vehicle crash in Brampton.

Peel police were called to the Highway 50 and Mayfield Road area just after 12:30 a.m. on Thursday.

Police said one of the vehicles hit the other from behind, causing them both to flip over.

The man taken to hospital is the driver of the vehicle that was hit. Police said his injuries are not life-threatening.

No other injuries were reported.

The area remains closed to traffic for the police investigation.
