Toronto police say two men are in hospital and two men have been arrested after a stabbing Saturday morning.

Officers say it happened in the Sherbourne and Dundas streets area around 7:30 a.m. They say it appears there was an altercation between a group of men that resulted in two people being stabbed.

Paramedics say one man has serious injuries and the other was taken to hospital in life-threatening condition.

There’s no word if the men stabbed are the same individuals who are in custody.

Anyone who has information about the incident or video footage is asked to contact police.
