    Toronto police have identified the victim fatally shot Monday night and continuing their search for a suspect in a stolen car after a shooting near a plaza in North York.

    The victim has been identified as 32-year-old Calvin Andre Scott of Toronto.

    Police responded to reports of gunshots heard around 8:30 p.m. in a parking lot in the area of Jane Street and Wilson Avenue.

    A man was found with gunshot wounds and assessed by paramedics before he was declared dead at the scene.

    Police say a vehicle was carjacked by the involved suspect who fled through the parking lot of Sheridan Mall.

    This vehicle is described as a black 2022 Toyota Corolla with the Ontario license plate CVZW 153.

    Investigators say this may have been a targeted shooting, but an isolated incident.

    Police are asking anyone who has information or dashcam footage to contact them or Crime Stoppers.
