Photo of man wanted in North York fatal shooting released by police

Toronto police have released an image of a person wanted in connection to the city’s 26th homicide of the year after a man was fatally shot in North York last month.

Calvin Andre Scott, 32, of Toronto was fatally shot on the evening of May 9 in a parking lot in the area of Jane Street and Wilson Avenue.

Police have said a vehicle was carjacked by a suspect, who left through the parking lot of Sheridan Mall. The vehicle was described as a 2022 black Toyota Corolla with the Ontario license plate CVZW 153.

Police say 28-year-old Nashon Marshall of Toronto is wanted on a warrant for second-degree murder and robbery while armed with a firearm.

Marshall is described to be six feet tall, with a medium build, brown eyes and black hair.

Police say he has multiple tattoos, one on his chest reading, “Family First,” another on his right outer forearm that reads “2750” with bricks in the background, on his right inner wrist stacks of cash, his right inner forearm, “money makes the world go around” over a globe, and on his right waist “Pain” is written.

Anyone who has information about this investigation, video footage of the area, and the whereabouts of Marshall is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
