32-year-old man struck and killed by TTC bus in Scarborough

A 32-year-old man is dead after he was struck and killed by a TTC bus in Scarborough on Monday morning.
Officers responded to a collision on Markham Road near Blakemoor Boulevard, just north of Eglinton, shortly before 1 a.m.
Police tell CityNews the pedestrian was crossing Markham Road mid-block from east to west when he was struck by a northbound travelling bus.
There were around 20 people aboard the bus at the time of the crash.
Markham Road was closed from Eglinton to Lawrence Avenue for the investigation but the roads have since reopened.
Anyone with more information is being asked to contact police.
