A man is dead and three others are injured following a chain-reaction crash in Scarborough on Sunday night.
Emergency crews responded to the intersection of Warden and St. Clair avenues around 10:45 p.m. after getting reports of a multi-vehicle collision.
Police say one vehicle rear-ended a second vehicle which subsequently collided with a third car. All vehicles involved remained at the scene.
The man driving the first vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene. Three others have been taken to hospital, one in life-threatening condition and two with serious but non life-threatening injuries.
Police say alcohol does not appear to be a factor in the crash.
Southbound Warden Avenue was closed at St. Clair for the investigation but all roads have since reopened.
