The New Kids on the Block have cancelled their Toronto concert that was slated for July 20 at Scotiabank Arena.
The concert was initially scheduled for June 22 but was also postponed by the boy band. Ticketmaster Canada says previously purchased tickets will be honoured for the new date.
“Due to circumstances out of our control, it is unfortunately impossible to present our show the way it is intended,” the band wrote on Twitter.
“Therefore, we will not be able to bring the Mixtape Tour to Toronto. We hope to be back as soon as we can and look forward to seeing you on the road soon.”

The Mixtape Tour started on May 10 in Cincinnati at Heritage Bank Center and continues through late July 2022. The tour will wrap up in Washington at Capital One Arena on July 23.
NKOTB is the latest high-profile concert to be cancelled in Toronto after The Weeknd was forced to postpone his event last week at Rogers Centre following the widespread outage that affected the network.
The Weeknd commented on social media, saying he was “crushed and heartbroken.”
