Man, 59, charged in alleged sexual assaults at Toronto business

A 59-year-old Toronto man is facing charges in connection to an alleged sexual assault at a downtown business.

Police say they were called to a business in the area of Bloor Street West and Spadina Avenue on July 18 following reports two people had been sexually assaulted.

The suspect was said to be a man employed as a contracted custodian to the business.

On July 28, police charged Aboneh Kassa Gebre with two counts of sexual assault. He is scheduled to appear in court to answer to the charges in September.

Police say the investigation is ongoing and are asking any other potential victims to come forward.
