Man shot in Trinity Bellwoods Park, possible suspect fled on bicycle

Police on the hunt for suspects after a man was shot at Trinity Bellwoods Park. It happened just after 11am Tuesday. Toronto Police stress there is no threat to public safety.

Toronto police are searching for a suspect after a man was shot near the baseball diamond in Trinity Bellwoods Park.

Police and paramedics were called to the park just after 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday.

Upon arrival, police found a man suffering from gunshot wounds and taken to hospital. His injuries are not considered life-threatening.

Police say a possible suspect was seen riding away on a bicycle.

No further details have been released.
