Motorcyclist killed in head-on crash with pickup truck in Caledon

One person is dead following a head-on crash between a motorcycle and another vehicle in Caledon.

Provincial police say around 1 p.m Sunday, a motorcycle collided with a pickup truck that was pulling a horse trailer on Highway 9 near Highway 50.

The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the pickup truck sustained minor injuries in the crash while the horses in the trailer were unharmed.

The age and gender of the motorcyclist is being withheld until the next of kin have been notified.
