Man shot and killed inside vehicle in Brampton driveway

One man is dead following a shooting in a driveway in Brampton on Monday morning.

Peel police responded to the shooting around 5:40 a.m. in the area of Veterans Drive and Wanless Drive, just east of Mississauga Road.

Police say a man was shot while sitting inside a vehicle in a driveway of a residence. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators are calling the incident a targeted shooting.

No suspect details have been released. The investigation is ongoing.
