Man, woman stabbed to death at Rexdale apartment; suspect in custody

Police are investigating after a man and a woman were stabbed to death inside an apartment building in Rexdale on Wednesday morning.
Toronto police responded to reports of a stabbing at 27 Bergamot Avenue, near Islington Avenue and Rexdale Boulevard, around 1:40 a.m.
They say two people were found dead at the scene inside a third floor unit at the building. Another person was taken to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

Police confirmed the two deceased victims are a man and a woman. Neighbours tell CityNews they believe the victims are a couple who were stabbed by their son.
A man has been arrested and investigators say no other suspects are being sought.
