Man walks into hospital with life-threatening gunshot wound: Toronto police

Toronto police are investigating a shooting that left a man with life-threatening injuries.

Police say the man walked into a hospital with a gunshot wound just after 6:30 a.m. on Sunday.

Officers were called to the area of Leslie Street and Sheppard Avenue East but it is unclear where the shooting took place.

The area is near North York General Hospital, which is where the victim likely walked into after being shot.

Police have not provided any further details.

There is no word on suspects at this time.
